Hosting a catered event at Saint Xavier University is a special experience. Our experienced catering team will expertly and
cheerfully guide you through the event planning process. Venues include banquet rooms on the main campus as well as a party
room at Gilhooley's Grande Saloon.

The In Any Event catering guide is designed for parties on the
main campus. It offers delicious  and contemporary menus for
every occasion from executive breaks to elegant receptions and banquets. Gilhooley’s catering guide was created especially for the restaurant and is located on the left of this page.

Planning Your Event

At Saint Xavier University, our experienced staff is capable of
creating the right menu and atmosphere for your event. Early
planning for your event will enhance your experience. After
identifying your special date, please contact the SXU Scheduling
and Events Office at (773) 298-3041 to determine space availability
on campus. After your reservation has been confirmed, please
contact our Catering Office at 773-298-3268 for your food needs.

Our professional catering staff will assist you with creating a memorable event. For this reason, we ask that you contact us a minimum of two weeks prior to your function.

 
Venues

Butler Reception Room -  Main Campus
SXU’s most expansive space featuring parquet floors and
chandeliers for special occasions


The Boardroom -  Main Campus
Located on the 4th floor of the Warde Academic Building, it
offers a distinguished space for midsized groups and business meetings

 The Diner Atrium and Patio - Main Campus
 This light and airy space is part of the recently renovated
SXU Diner. It features inside/outside  seating and an attractive
 patio area
.

 Gilhooley’s Grande Saloon - 103rd Street
A uniquely beautiful Irish Pub with 19th century style and grace,
this is where the SXU and neighborhood communities meet.
